2. Purpose, Scope, and Use of Personal Data Processing
We collect and process personal data to maintain contact with customers, to send marketing communications via email, to promote sales, and to profile customers in order to tailor content and product offers in emails and on websites. We record email opens and clicks on links within the emails received by individuals. For better-targeted offers and communication, these recorded data are automatically processed, analyzed, profiled, and used to assess customer interest in sent messages. No automated decision-making is performed based on these profiles and data.
For email communication purposes, we store the following personal data:
- Email address
- First name
- Last name
- Gender
Personal data are collected based on the explicit consent of individuals. We store consents together with the content of the form through which they were obtained.
The following departments have access to the personal data:
- Sales
- Marketing
- Customer Support
3. Data Storage Location
Personal data collections are stored within the Republic of Slovenia and are not transferred to other countries.
4. Data Retention Period
Personal data are retained until the individual withdraws their consent for data processing and storage. Upon withdrawal, personal data will be promptly and permanently deleted.
If the purposes for which we collected and processed personal data cease to apply, the relevant data collections will be immediately and permanently deleted.
Data on email opens and link clicks are stored for 12 months from the date of sending the email.
5. Rights of the Data Subject
Individuals have the right to request at any time:
- Access to their personal data.
- Correction of inaccurate data.
- Complete deletion of their personal data.
- Data portability to another service provider.
- Restriction of processing or withdrawal of consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Requests can be sent via email to info@minitec.si or by post to the company headquarters.
If we intend to process personal data for a purpose other than that for which they were collected, we will inform the individual about the new purpose and all relevant information before further processing.
If an individual believes that their personal data rights have been violated, they may file a complaint with the supervisory authority at any time:
